My name is Timothy McCourt, and I am a senior at UA-Little Rock, majoring in Media Production and minoring in Information Technology. My skills range from writing, video production, video editing, website building, database building, and project managing. I am skillful in many softwares including; Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Cloud 9, and WordPress. I have work experience by; running cameras for UALR basketball games, managing an equipment lab, creating promos for the Museum of Discovery, and project managing on a website. My ultimate career goal is to do media production work in sports, but I am open to any opportunity.
I plan on applying my skills in many ways. I have had to work many projects, with many people. This gives me a lot of experience working with others. Most jobs require teamwork, and I have been building my team building skills for many years, resulting in me being team leader on many projects. I can also produce videos whether it be writing, shooting, or editing. I have done many projects where I have worked on all 3 stages of production. I have applied my media production skills by writing screenplays, creating commercials, directing a live studio show, and directing many short films. I can apply many web building skills to build, maintain, fix, or optimize websites. I also can apply myself by building databases whether be through a strong database with primary keys, or simpler record keeping like Google Sheets. I also know how to code queries to turn numbers and words into meaningful data.
